At Minnesota Equipment, we know that staying sharp is key to serving our customers. That’s why our owners and sales team recently attended a hands-on John Deere training event in Orlando.
Our Experience
Testing New John Deere Equipment
During the training, our team got to put the latest EFI zero-turn mowers, Gators and connectivity tech to work. We also compared John Deere machines directly with competitors like Kubota, CAT and New Holland to understand what sets them apart.
Deep Dive into JD Link & Connectivity
A big part of our training was on JD Link, John Deere’s telematics system. This tech helps manage equipment efficiency, tracking and maintenance. Our new knowledge will help guide customers in getting the most out of their machines.
Equipment Best Practices
The training included discussions on how to best use attachments to increase productivity. We also ensured that our newer team members got hands-on experience with the latest gear, so they’re ready to assist you in the shop.
Team Building & Collaboration
Beyond the technical training, our team connected through shared meals and travel. Working closely together helps us serve you better, plain and simple.
Training Stations We Attended
We covered a lot of ground at the training stations, including:
- Skid Loaders & Excavators
- Utility Tractors & Compact Utility Tractors
- Lawn Tractors & ZTrak Zero-Turn Mowers (Residential & Commercial)
- Stand-On QuikTracks & Commercial Walk-Behinds
- Wide Area Mowers & TerrainCut Machines
- Connectivity Equipment & JD Link Technology
- John Deere Gators (and yes, we saw some real ones, too! 🐊)
