Minnesota Equipment Hosts Government & Commercial Contractor Expo at Rogers Store Thumbnail image

On Thursday, January 8, 2026, Minnesota Equipment welcomed government agencies, municipalities, schools, and commercial contractors from across the greater Twin Cities to our Government & Commercial Contractor Expo at our Rogers location. The event ran from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and was designed to educate, connect, and support the professionals who keep our communities maintained, safe, and running efficiently.

The morning kicked off with donuts and coffee, giving attendees time to explore a wide variety of equipment and talk one-on-one with our knowledgeable Minnesota Equipment team. Guests were able to see firsthand how today’s tractors, mowers, skid steers, compact track loaders, and specialized attachments can significantly improve efficiency for property maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, and construction applications. Equipment and solutions from multiple trusted brands were showcased, highlighting how the right machine and attachment combination can solve real-world challenges faced by cities, municipalities, schools, and contractors.

A key highlight of the event was an informative road requirements and trucking safety presentation led by Minnesota State Patrol Officers Eric Sundby and Tomasz Krolak. Their presentation covered important regulations, safety considerations, and best practices that contractors and government entities need to understand when transporting equipment on Minnesota roadways. Each attendee who participated in the session received a certificate from Minnesota Equipment verifying 90 minutes of completed training, adding meaningful professional value to the day.

Following the presentation, attendees enjoyed a delicious lunch catered by Broaster’s, providing additional time for networking, asking questions, and continuing equipment discussions in a relaxed setting.

The Expo was open to both current customers and non-customers, reflecting Minnesota Equipment’s commitment to serving the broader community. Our goal was not only to showcase the extensive lineup of equipment and attachments we offer, but also to build relationships, answer questions, and demonstrate the depth of support our sales, parts, and service teams provide long after the purchase.

As a thank-you for attending, guests were also offered significant discounts on Parts and STIHL equipment, reinforcing our appreciation for the contractors and public agencies who trust Minnesota Equipment as a partner.

Events like this Expo reflect our ongoing mission to be more than an equipment dealer—we strive to be a knowledgeable, reliable resource for the professionals who maintain Minnesota’s roads, properties, parks, and communities every day.

We sincerely thank everyone who attended and helped make the Government & Commercial Contractor Expo a success. We look forward to hosting more educational and hands-on events in the future.
